In a villa, the designer has to find the logic themselves -- the entrance foyer sets a tone that every subsequent room must honour, the staircase is a spatial event rather than a utility, the double-height living areas demand a different approach to lighting and proportion than a standard ceiling ever would.
We approach villa interiors with the understanding that the home is meant to reflect the people who live in it, not a catalogue finish level.
